Challenge Weeks 2025

Innovation in Action. At Sea. With Purpose.

The SeaSEC Challenge Weeks are a unique multinational initiative designed to strengthen the protection of critical seabed infrastructure. Recent sabotages show that the systems that power our data, energy, and internet networks are at security risk. For ten days in May 2025, industry, governments, defence forces and research and technology organisations have collaborated in a live experimentation environment, focusing on detecting underwater threats.

Hosted at Campus@Sea in The Hague and offshore in the North Sea, the Challenge Weeks featured sea trials for relevant operational scenarios, technology demonstrations, strategic workshops, and data-sharing between trusted partners.

The Challenge Weeks aren’t a trade show. It’s a mission-driven platform where civil-military innovation is tested under realistic North Sea conditions.
